Jennifer Barner is the founder of Lighthouse Ventures, a private equity real estate investment firm. She started her real estate career in 2015 studying under the Rich Dad program. She then transitioned to MF and is now the General Partner on 887 doors across 5 states and has invested in over 2104 doors. Additionally, Jennifer has rehabbed 45 properties and has a SF rental portfolio she self manages in the Kansas City area. Jennifer is most proud of the fact that she started her real estate journey with the goal of putting all four of her kids through college debt free which she has successfully achieved.

Today, she is teaching others how to achieve financial freedom through 1-1 coaching, as well as, educating others through her podcast called Mastering Money for Moms where she is helping Moms Manage their Finances and Build a Legacy through Real Estate. Prior to becoming a full time real estate investor Jennifer worked in sales at both IBM and Microsoft managing software implementations. She has also helped launch several lifestyle and health companies. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Washburn. She is an avid
reader, loves hiking, gardening, and spending downtime with friends and family. Jennifer lives in the Kansas City area with her husband and is mom to four children.

Ray Council is an automotive client specialist at John Sinclair Nissan. Since starting in the automotive industry, he has won Salesman of the month over 45 times, Salesman of the Year 4 times, and earned Nissan Award of Excellence the last 3 years. He has also broken the store record for vehicles sold in a year 4 times and for most vehicles sold in a month 5 times. He is currently number 1 in the district with New Nissans sold and since January 1, 2022, has sold over 1,000 vehicles! 

Prior to the automotive industry, at 19 years old, he started in sales by working at Kohls selling credit cards. After catching on in three months, he ended up winning top seller 16 consecutive months in a row, including being recognized for being top 100 in the world, second in the region and first in the district in 2016 with 1,319 credit cards sold. 

Since he rescued his dog from SEMO PETS, his favorite activity right now is being able to adopt a pet and have a meet and greet for anyone to be able to take that dog home, on his behalf. They have gotten 3 out of 5 dogs adopted so far through his meet and greets and social media presence!

My name is Lisa Miget. I was born in Cape Girardeau and raised in Jackson, graduating from Jackson High School in 2000. I obtained my EMT and Paramedic licenses at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center, followed by Critical Care Paramedic certification from Washington University and Community Paramedicine Certification from Maryville University. I also became a board-certified Flight Medic through the International Board of Specialty Certification. I worked for 20 years in emergency medicine with various ambulance services and as a Flight Medic for Air Evac Lifeteam and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. I held multiple teaching certifications and helped train fellow medics in Southeast Missouri and St. Louis. I was instrumental in creating the first community paramedicine program in St. Louis County and expanding the STARS program in Southeast Missouri.

After an ambulance accident in 2021 left me unable to continue in emergency medicine, I returned to my family business, Sappington Pro Outdoor, which I now run with my father and brother. Our business has grown rapidly and is now one of the largest lawn & garden and powersports dealerships in the Midwest. In 2023, my husband Scotty retired from the Air Force, and we opened Tee’ED OFF Golf & Performance in February 2024.

My name is Scotty Migét. I was born in Cape Girardeau and raised in Jackson. I graduated from JHS in 2000 and joined the Air Force in 2003 as a Ground Transportation professional. I deployed six times with the Army, traveling 78,000 miles on convoys in Iraq. Our mission delivered more cargo to bases in Iraq than all Air Force cargo aircraft combined. I ended my 20-year career as the Superintendent of Ground Transportation at Scott AFB, IL, supervising 45 personnel and supporting Air Force One. I led the mobilization of 591 short tons of cargo on 44 presidential airlift missions, covering 30,000 miles across 7 states, earning Air Mobility Command’s top designation in presidential support.

I earned an Associate of Science in Transportation Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Athletic Development Management. My awards include a Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medals, Army Commendation Medals, and an Air Force Achievement Medal. Additionally, I received the Air Force Combat Action Medal, Army Combat Action Badge, and Army Drivers Badge.

After retiring, I pursued my passion for golf, becoming the golf coach at Saxony Lutheran High School in Jackson. My wife Lisa and I also created Tee’ED OFF Golf and Performance in uptown Jackson. My goal is to inspire and develop young men and women in our community, showing them that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
